WiMAX
WiMAX (Worldwide Interoperability for Microwave Access) is a 4G technology based on the IEEE 802.16 standard that enables the delivery of high-speed broadband services to subscribers anywhere and anytime. We work with the WiMAX Forum and other players to provide end-to-end solutions.
Broman Wireless delivers either turn-key projects or customized solutions for a part of the network. For example, we have delivered the Security Layer implementation for one of the WiMAX majors. Typically, Broman Wireless works with the Telcos to provide WiMAX based backhaul solutions.
Wireless Broadband Solutions

Smart energy coupled with advanced smart grid infrastructure enables communication between utility companies and common household devices such as smart thermostats and appliances, all managed by a smart meter. The intelligent management of devices, network and load-balancing is distributed to the nodes and thus provide a sustainable balance between consumption and conservation. Broman Wireless is developing IP for Smart Grid by using its experience from Back Haul solutions. Broman Wireless is working with Utility companies in BRIC countries to innovate and implement.
